The annual International Windsurf Race will take place tomorrow on the Phan Thiet City beach in Binh Thuan Province.More than 50 participants, both local and international, have registered to take part in the annual event according to organizers.
People who are interested in joining the competition, now in its 14th year, can still register up until 9am tomorrow morning.
There are two categories at the event. Professionals will race for 3,200m following a W-shaped track while amateurs will cover the same distance but following a figure of eight track.
The prizes for the winners are being kept a secret.
Phan Thiet is said to be the most beautiful place for windsurfing in Vietnam. The city has hosted a number of tournaments including the annual Fun Cup International Windsurf Race and the Professional Windsurfers Association's World Cup event.
