One of the biggest problems that most people occur when they reinstall their operating system are the drivers. It can be very complicated to install drivers properly and to find the proper driver files that should be installed to your system. With an application like Driver Magician this task can be significantly simpler and much more easier. Without tools like this we are usually stuck with bunch of CD’s that we received when we bought computer and in case that all those CD’s that are usually few years old are working and not are damaged it still can take us quite some time to do everything the right way.
With Driver Magician you can perform the backup of all your drivers that you have on your computer. This is a life saver in case that you loose all your CD’s because the process of getting those driver files from the internet can be a real time consuming and complicated job.
After you download and install this program all you need to run it when the all available drivers on your system will be displayed. About all these drivers you will be getting additional information’s alike date, size, provider, description, class and similar. All the drivers that are highlighted in red are not related to Microsoft.
You can use a button to select all drivers and then initiate the backup creating process. If you choose a particular driver, you can view the device ID, device information file and driver files number of a device, as well as a short description, on the bottom part of the screen.
When the backup process starts you will notice that the Driver Magician needs only a small amount of your system resources and that everything is done quite quickly. There will be no problems with the process and the system will remain functional like nothing is in progress.
Overall, we are getting pretty useful application but it still comes with a few limitations. One of the things that might come in some future releases is the help file and that would certainly help users in case they get stuck with this program. Another feature that would be highly appreciated is the sorting of the drivers, at this moment drivers are not even displayed in an alphabetic order.
